Many of the single player games on the list have high potential to become classics. Dragon Quest XI finally comes back to console and debuts on PC after 11 years. The game remains the same, but will looks substantially better as it will not be on a mobile device. Spider-Man has already picked up traction in the West with small leaks of gameplay being released. The game has been updated with beautiful 1080 and 4k graphics and makes the Big Apple look extravagant. Assassin’s Creed comes back with another hit to their legendary series. Odyssey looks more RPG like as the player can make game changing decisions, create relationships, and earn and level up skills throughout the game. Lastly, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been a long awaited title. RDR was released 8 years ago and was a huge hit both single player and online. This western style GTA game will bring back the previous characters and should be a huge improvement both graphically and gameplay-wise after Rockstar’s success with GTA V. The multiplayer games on the list also have high potential, but speculating the success is much harder. Black Ops IIII, Fallout 76, Pokemon Let’s Go, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and FIFA 19 have huge followings, but we will have to see how they progress through updates and tweaks after release. Get ready to hibernate and wreck some noobs this holiday season and pre order your games before they sell out!
