PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) bring us many in their latest update! The changes vary and bring a lot of hope for PUBG and include finally adding the new map, Sanhok.

Sanhok has been on standby for months as we wait long and hard. The map was going through a number of tests before the expansion was released, and it will be LIVE!

Sanhok is the smallest map of the trinity of maps, and is focused at players from their competitors. This map style is half the size of the other maps which should encourage faster paced matches and plenty of action.With the release of Sanhok, PUBG has given us a new weapon called the QBZ95. This weapon is exclusive to this map, and fits the fast-paced environment.

Since press release, we are unable to determine many details — it is somewhat vague — but it appears that the patch, and Sanhok, will go live June 22nd!

PUBG has also made a new video, public. The video is aimed to drive players to PUBG ahead of their newest release!

The size of Sanhok is minuscule compared to Erangel and Miramar. 4km x 4km, games tend to end a little more quickly on this tiny island and battle will be epic especially because we still have 100 players in every game.

With the release of Sanhok, PUBG have increase item spawns making you equipped for battle faster! The total item spawn rate has been increased more than 10%. Unfortunately for those scope lovers, some high scopes will not spawn on Sanhok. The QBZ is replacing the SCAR-L in Sanhok’s item spawn pool (meaning the SCAR-L will not spawn on Sanhok). The QBZ95 will spawn 1.4x as often as the SCAR-L used to spawn on Sanhok. 

Knowing PUBG’s history and the competition they face in the Battle Royale competiton. We are excited for this new release. The new release will give life to the game and narrow the margin of the competition. The new map, the size of the map, new weapon, and spawn times! PUBG is changing the game and particularely, it’s game, and we have the opportunity to see the future of gaming change in front of us!
