God of War Includes New Photo Mode Instantly Makes the Game More Goofy
Photo modes have become an increasingly popular feature in video games dating back to the Legend of Zelda Windwaker HD remake and perhaps even further than that. The successful mode that really boosted the popularity of the Wii U title has been recently finding itself in various PS4 games. Titles like Uncharted spin-off Lost Legacy, and Horizon Zero Dawn have all included various different photo modes, and now after heavy requesting from fans, God of war is now added to that list.
Now all your dreams of taking selfies with Kratos can finally come true. Santa Monica Studios went all out with this new feature, allowing you to use all sorts of different angles and give Kratos all types of goofy facial expressions. It’s a welcome new edition to a series that more often than not takes itself a little too serious. This new game, however, has been a welcome change with its emotional undertones and well-crafted story which can now be a humor-filled heartwarming affair as well. With this new mode, you can now make the arduous father and son journey a fan backpacking trip through the mountains, or you can make it an angst-filled nightmare between a doting father and his teenage son. The sky is the limit on what goofy shenanigans you chose to create; during what many people feel is God of War’s best story. The mode is also incredibly fun for players who have already finished the game and can now wander around areas they have already been to and turn them into hilarious and amazing moments.
Photo mode is a seemingly simple addition that helps give single-player story games more replay value. Players can now create all types of fun or even serious content that they can share with the world. Who knows what kind of memes and content this new photo mode will create, but chances are it’s going to be great.
