The extensive rework of No Man’s Sky called NEXT has been revealed to the gaming universe. It is set to be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on the 24th of July. So let’s not ramble on any further and talk about the brilliant rework.
In the previous version, gamers saw the miracle development in the gaming scene. The advertising campaign for the launch wasn’t very successful but the public opinion was reversed with continuous updates and developments.
Now the trailer has revealed a completely different experience than the previous one launched two years ago. The previous updates seem to be nothing in comparison to Atlas Rises, Path Finder, and Foundation. This new version finally brings about what the gaming universe is beginning to shift over to – Multiplayer sequences.
Inside the infinite space rim of No Man’s Sky, NEXT offers a first person and third person point of view gameplay as seen in the trailer. The Multiplayer feature offers for gamers to team up with small groups of friends in order to explore the ever-expanding universe. You can actually help your friends stay alive or actually launch an offensive to survive.
In this feature, you can either be a pirate or just a wingman that will compete in the epic space battles with enemies or even your friends. The trailer also shows exocraft races in weird alien terrains by creating your own custom tracks; which can also be shared online. Another feature which attracts most gamers will also be featured in this version which is an ability to personalize an appearance to create your own characters.
In terms of the visual experience, as mentioned above, the gameplay offers a third person experience along with an option to switch on to the first person – whether you are on foot or in your ship. Also, its hard to imagine but the visuals of space have actually been made better with more dramatic planetary rings and beyond.
The planetary terrain can also be used to build bases anywhere you land. Amongst the beautiful additions of ground textures, clouds and water bodies you can build complex structures with fewer limits on size. Now you can own hundreds of bases in different parts of the game’s universe.
In terms of building your own fleet, there are many new possibilities as seen in the trailer. Now you can assemble a fleet of fighter ships or freights to deploy while exploring a specific system of the universe. These upgrades also allow you to build a custom capital ship where you can invite your friends and synergize for challenging missions. All these missions have a multiplayer scenario, therefore we can expect huge capital structures when your team gets together.
All-in-all, the trailer has teased at a very impressive development in this series and also may be a stand-alone for those who haven’t tried previous versions. All these updates are completely free and will be included in the release of the game on July 24th. Save the date!
