This past weekend, gamers were able to play Call of duty across different platforms for free. The current installment in this new franchise has sold several copies. However, not everyone has tried the game. If you were yet to decide on the video game (Call of Duty: WWII), the game makers provided an opportunity to try the video game. PC gamers were able to test the multiplayer mode of the game on Steam this past weekend. The complete game was alsi on sale all throughout the weekend.
During that period, you were able to go through the various maps within Call of Duty, including the various modes (multiplayer mode) and its advantages.
Furthermore, you were able to carry over the progress made during your free trial into the complete game.
The items that were carried over included:
• Every progression is extended from the free trial to a complete title once you buy it.
• All the unlockables and inventory items were extended from a free trial game to a complete title once acquired.
For those who were able to get the complete game this weekend, Activision was able to give discounts on every version such as the Season Pass and the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Here were the discounts:
• Season Pass – Call of Duty: WWII – 20 percent Discount
• Digital deluxe edition – Call of Duty: WWII – 25 percent Discount
• Call of Duty: WWII – Discount of 35 percent
The sale ran through the 7th of May and players were able to choose to download the multiplayer version on Steam at the moment and play the game till Sunday, 6th of May 6 at 16:00 EST /13:00 PST/ 21:00 GMT.
